Catalyst Museum

Today we visited the Catalyst Science Discovery Centre.

First we headed to the observatory that had panoramic views of the surrounding area. Here we learnt all about recycling and the construction of the bridge.

Then we explored the Scientrific Gallery which had lots of hands on activities that allowed us to; investigate how modern materials and chemicals are made, discover colourful crystals and create big bubbles.
After lunch we had our potions workshop, we worked in a laboratory ory like real scientists to discover the surprising chemical reaction that can take place. We then used our investigative skill to have a go at making our own potions.

We were very tired after our busy day!
